I’m learning to use a new (well, a new-to-me) art app for the iPad called Procreate to make digital illustrations.
I’ve barely delved into using it, but this morning I discovered a super cool, super handy tool–Procreate can create time-lapse videos for the art/illustrations made on it!
I’ve been jumping up and down in excitement–yes, even more so than usual:-) This feature makes it easy to share about the illustrations and the process of creating them–and I don’t even have to THINK ABOUT or REMEMBER to turn the function on–it’s automatically set up.
So, if you want to see the time-lapse video for my first illustration in Procreate, just click on the video at the top of this post. The illustration is called “Night Contemplation,” and the artistic style was inspired by Taeeun Yoo’s illustrations in the picture book entitled Round, written by Joyce Sidman.
If you have Procreate and you haven’t noticed the time-lapse function, you just click on the wrench icon in the top left corner, then choose the video icon to access the time-lapse options.
